Houses can move over time and cracks can form in foundations. In particular poured concrete foundations are very susceptible to cracks growing from one surface edge to another.
To repair the crack we follow a very straight forward process. If we're working with a finished basement, we remove a small section of drywall and expose the crack. We then drill holes to allow for polyurethane expanding foam to be injected into the crack. The foam expands and hardens very quickly. To complete the process we cover the foam with a waterproof membrane and cement that in place.
The entire process takes less than a day and is a permanent solution to foundation cracks.
